Mobile Clinical Research Unit (MCRU)

     Under the mobile clinical research programme, the mobile clinical research unit (MCRU) of the institute provides health care facilities to the economically weaker section of the population in rural areas and sub-urban slums of Chennai, where health care facilities are either less or not available. This unit provides treatment to the ailing masses through Unani medicine at their doorsteps, and research patients are being referred to the institute for screening.
